Welcome to 7th grade English/ Language Arts. I am so happy to be here at Canfield Middle School this year. This is my first year at Canfield, teaching 7th grade. I spent the last year teaching 4th grade at NExA elementary school and then the 8 years before that, were spent teaching 2nd grade at Ramsey Magnet School of Science. I graduated with my teaching certification from Lewis-Clark State College in 2012. I enjoy teaching all subjects, but especially love reading and writing. I am excited to dive into the fun units that we have planned this year!
When I am not in my classroom, I am usually spending time with my family. My husband, Billy and I have three kids, Will (sophomore), Maddy (8th grade) and Vinny (5th grade). We keep busy with our small hobby farm and lots of sports activities. I love gardening, walking, hanging out with all my animals and sewing/crafting.
