My name is Mr. Parsons and I teach 7th grade Social Studies and Media Arts here at Canfield. I have been teaching for 17 years and have enjoyed the opportunities of traveling to many places around the world with my wife and kids. I have taught a wide range of classes from World Cultures, US History, Civics, Psychology, Global Issues and Media Arts. My degree is in Social Studies/History, but I have a strong passion for technology, which led me to Canfield Middle School. I currently teach World Cultures (7th grade Social Studies), Animation, Tech tools and Creative Coding, which explore the field of technology. Outside of school, I enjoy the outdoors, flyfishing and tending to our homestead with various farm animals.
