Welcome to SCIENCE!
I am stoked to be living in Northern Idaho, and mostly, teaching at this amazing school. I am originally from a teeny town on the outskirts of Buffalo / Niagara Falls, NY (not the city!). I believe that is why I love being here in CDA, it reminds me of home. I have lived, worked and traveled all over the country and the world.
I hold a BS in Biology, with a minor in Chemistry and a focus in adolescent education. After college I was offered a job as a field biologist and I took it. I started my career in Yosemite National Park and have worked in various national parks around the country. I am hoping to instill my passion for learning not only the content but about the world in each of my students.
Every position I held involved educating folks of all ages and I knew I was destined to teach one way or another.
I am currently teaching General Science, Physical Science and Astronomy
Students are responsible for checking Google Classroom for any notes, assignments, projects or announcements missed during their absence.
