I am excited to be teaching all levels of German at Coeur d'Alene High School. I previously taught German and Gifted and Talented in Gillette, Wyoming for 10 years.  I also coached academic competitions, speech and debate, and volleyball.  In that time, I took 3 groups of students to Europe, one of which was for a home-stay program in Munich, Germany for 10 days.  I attended the University of Wyoming where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in both German and Education.  Two summers ago, I took a group of students, parents, friends, and family over to Europe for 14 days.  We toured London, Paris, Lucerne, Munich, Prague, and Berlin.  I hope to take another trip in two years.  Last year, my very first German students from CHS graduated.

I have been happily married to my best friend for 19 years.  We have two daughters who are in high school.  The baby of our family, Gracie, is a 10-year-old Cocker Spaniel.  I enjoy a variety of activities which include music, reading, water recreation, traveling, volleyball, and summer outdoor activities.
