Coeur d’Alene’s schools are committed to continuous improvement and as part of our school improvement process, every school in our district develops and implements a School Improvement Plan that is tailored to its specific needs each year. Our schools analyze a variety of information sources – including student performance trends, state comparisons and staff/parent perception surveys – to identify improvement goals that are specific, data-driven and measurable. To help each of our schools understand its strengths and challenges in areas known to impact educational effectiveness, we would appreciate your input on how our schools are doing.
Soon, you will receive an online, multiple-choice survey from https://www.research.net/s.aspx. The survey will have the subject line: EES Parent Survey – (School Name) and will include a link to the survey. We ask that you please complete and submit the survey by March 28, 2014. If you have more than one child in the Coeur d’Alene School District, you will receive one survey for each school your children attend. Please complete each survey so that all of your children’s schools will benefit from your feedback.
Please watch for this Educational Effectiveness Survey and take a few minutes to send us your input. We truly appreciate your time and participation. Your feedback is very important to our ongoing school improvement efforts as we endeavor to make our schools the very best for the students who attend them.
Hardcopies of the surveys are also available in the office at Venture High School. Please only complete the on-line version or the hard copy.
Thanks for your help in gathering data for our school,
