Welcome to Coeur d'Alene High School Coeur d’Alene High School is committed to the
complete education of each student with an emphasis on academic
excellence, individual achievement, and social growth.
Coeur d'Alene High School serves approximately 1500 students from the cities of Coeur d'Alene, Dalton Gardens, Hayden and a rural portion of Kootenai County, Idaho. CHS is accredited by the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools and has 70 certificated staff, four counselors, a substance abuse specialist, 30 support staff and four administrators. Many of our staff have received state and national recognition. Coeur d'Alene High School is recognized as an “Idaho School of Merit” and was selected as the first of two high schools in the State of Idaho to offer the International Baccalaureate Program. CHS offers a “core curriculum” in English, math, science, and social studies. In addition, CHS also offers a wide variety of elective courses including applied technology, business, dual credit, fine arts, fitness and health, technical preparation, and world languages.
