2020-21 Online Verification

    ONLINE VERIFICATION IS OPEN

    Online Verification through Skyward Family Access for the 2020-21 school year is available to parents/guardians from Tuesday, July 14, through Friday, August 21.

    If your students attended ANY school in the District last year (2019-20), now is the time to verify their enrollment for the new year (2020-21). This includes students who are returning to the same school or moving to a new school.

    Through Online Verification, parents/guardians confirm that all student information in Skyward is accurate and up to date. This includes student health information, your contact information, and emergency contacts. The Online verification process also allows families to submit an application for free/reduced-price meals for the 2020-21 school year. (You will be prompted to submit an application or decline if you do not qualify.) Online Verification reduces paperwork and provides schools the best information to serve your student in the new school year.

    If you submitted an elementary transfer application during our Open Enrollment window in April, please note that decisions on elementary transfers will be made in late August. The school listed on your student’s online verification is not an approval or denial of your transfer application.

    Having trouble logging into your Skyward Family Access account? Please use the email you provided for your student’s Skyward account. If you forgot your password, simply click on “Forgot Your Login/Password?” and you will be prompted to reset your password.

     

    When you log into Skyward, make sure you are in the Family Access mode:

    REGISTRATION / NEW STUDENTS 2020-21

    Here are the dates and times for registering new students for the 2020-21 school year:

    All Elementary Schools: Registration is on Thursday, August 20, from 12 PM until 6 PM.

    All Middle Schools: Registration is on Tuesday, August 25, from 12 PM until 6 PM.

    (Families also may register new students after these dates)

    High Schools: Call the school for which you are zoned to schedule a new student enrollment appointment with a school counselor. Staff will be available to take calls on August 3, August 10 and August 17, and every weekday beginning Aug. 24.

    Records you will need: No child may be enrolled until the school receives the following information:

    • Current proof of residency in the Coeur d’Alene School District
    • Current immunization records
    • State-certified birth certificate
