Sorensen is a magnet schools, and use an application and lottery system to determine student enrollment.  Below is the priority order for student enrollment:

1.       Children of Sorensen staff members.
2.       Children whose siblings already attend the magnet school.
3.       Children whose families live within the boundary zone of the school.
4.       Children whose families live outside the school zone or outside the district.
