January 26

“If January is the month of change, February is the month of lasting change. January is for dreamers… February is for doers.”

Marc Parent

January is almost over and February is right around the corner. The weather is still cold. With all the sick kids the past week, we still have students coughing, especially after they come in from recess. Please bundle your child with hats and warm jackets. I know the boys don't think it's cool to wear a jacket, but I tell them that it is more uncool to have a dripping nose.

Valentine’s Day

Reminder: Our party will be at 2:30 on February 14th. I am asking for each student to bring an empty cereal box or a shoe box next week so we can make it into a Valentine holder.

I am also asking that all Valentines arrive by or before February 10th. The students will hand them out on the 10th and 11th. If you are including candy with the Valentine card, please make sure it is individually wrapped.

I am still uploading class work to Schoology. I'm doing my best to stay caught up. If your child is at home sick or forgot his/her homework, have him/her look in Schoology.
