WELCOME TO 2ND GRADE!!!! I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year. Education is a passion of mine; I feel like I don't work a day as this is also my hobby. I believe that no significant learning can take place without a significant relationship. Children learn best in an environment where they feel safe to make mistakes understanding that it is a part of growing. Therefore, I strive to build a family within the classroom where we all support and encourage eachother.  I have been with the Coeur d' Alene School District since 2010. I have held various positions at 5 elementary schools within the district. Prior to CDA eSchool, I spent five years at Atlas Elmentary where I taught both kindergarten and third grade.

I have two adult sons: James and Mathew. I also have two beautiful grandaughters Anna and Abby, and a new grandbaby due to join us in February.  At home, I have three little yorkie dogs that keep me busy. :)
