I taught and coached in Sandpoint for 23 years before joining the staff at Coeur d'Alene High School. I primarily taught English at Sandpoint High School, and I coached multiple sports, including serving as the head wrestling coach for nearly 20 years.
I received my bachelor's degree from the University of Montana (Go Griz!) in 1992. I received my master's degree in educational leadership from the University of Idaho in 2006 and followed that up with an educational specialist degree in 2013.
My wife Teresa, an elementary teacher, and I have three children: Alyssa, a seventh grader; Nolan, a ninth grader; and Casey, a freshman at the University of Wyoming.
