• Hi Dalton Dragon families! My name is Aneta Jennings and I am the Speech-Language Pathologist at Dalton Elementary. I am in my 10th year with the Coeur d’ Alene School District and my 3rd year at Dalton Elementary. I am a North Idaho local girl and attended all of my K-12 schooling within the Coeur d’ Alene School District. I earned my bachelor’s degree from the University of Idaho (Go Vandals!) and hold two master’s degrees from the University of Montana (Go Griz!).

As a school based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), my job is to work with students to improve their overall communication skills in relation to their academics and access to the general education classroom. I work with students in any of the following areas: speech sound articulation; language such as vocabulary, grammar, syntax; fluency; pragmatic language; hearing; and alternative/augmented modalities of communication. I work closely with classroom teachers, other school staff, and parents in an effort to provide the best services to my students.

When I am not at work, I’m usually planning a trip as I love to travel both domestically and internationally. I love summer time, being out on our beautiful lakes, and simply enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My husband and I have one son who will soon be a Dalton Dragon himself. I look forward to being a part of the Dalton family for many years to come.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns regarding your child’s speech and/or language. Email is best as I work in multiple schools in the school district.
