    We believe in preparing the children to become life-long learners and responsible citizens. This entails providing the information, skills, and encouragement our children need to succeed. Each classroom provides a safe and caring environment where students can feel comfortable taking risks and becoming problem solvers. Students learn the importance of working cooperatively as well as becoming more independent.

    Academic milestones are reached in third grade. These include adding and subtracting larger numbers, learning the multiplication and division facts, as well as paragraph and cursive writing. In reading, emphasis is placed on fluency and comprehension.

    Children learn the importance of personal responsibility as they transition to become more independent learners and responsible citizens. Also, an emphasis is placed on the development of positive attitudes, choices, and effort.
