• Welcome to Third Grade!

    Hello Families!

This year is off to a great start. Our class of 3rd graders is learning about the community "then and now" through Place-Based projects, growth mindset in all academic areas, making the world a better place once day at a time, and exploring deep thinking through questioning and reflection.

Our schedule allows for focused skill practice in Reading and Math, as well as choice and elaboration time. We'd love for you to listen to us read during the day. Come on in and ask about our current reading goals.

Homework consists of reading 20+ minutes each night and math practice at your student's pace. Reading logs are due each Monday morning. Please keep math workbooks at home to use at your leisure.

At home, students are able to practice reading and math skills through technology
