At Hayden Meadows Elementary School, where inquiry instruction is our practice, we envision technology supporting every grade level, classroom, subject, and student throughout the day. All of our highly qualified and innovative educators are anxious to fully integrate technology, transform instruction and build digital literacy.
It is our vision to fully incorporate technology into collaborative student-centered Next Generation Learning Environments. Though technology would not be the focus, it would be the catalyst supporting our inquiry instruction. Students will venture forward with technology to organize, analyze, synthesize, research, and ethically utilize information from a variety of resources.
Technology at Hayden Meadows:
- Lab with 33 student computers
- Mobile labs at every grade level
- Document Cameras in every classroom
- Projectors with Apple TV's in every classroom
- One iPad per teacher for use in instruction
- A new Video Conferencing system
Through grants, we have one-to-one iPads in 4th grade, one-to-one Chrome Book for all 5th and mini labs of 6 iPads in K through 2nd grade. 3rd grade shares one iPad cart for two classes.
