    Mrs. Marcia Dixon
    Library/Media Manager

Hello!  I am thrilled to be the the Woodland Library/Media Manager!  I am a CdA native (CHS class of '87) and have a BS in Communications from the Univesity of Idaho.  I imported a fabulous husband from the Seattle area and have two teenagers (yikes!).  We also have a gorgeous, hairy fur ball of a dog and a Fair fish that has lasted three years and tripled in size!

In myprevious life (read: before children), I owned and operated a dance studio in Coeur d'Alene for ten years.  I taught tap, jazz, ballet, swing, Irish step dance, country line dance, and high school dance teams in Coeur d'Alene and Spokane.  My knees hurt, people! Ah 5, 6, 7, 8...

Reading is one of my favorite hobbies and we have a library full of fabulous books here at Woodland!  I hope to share my love of literature with your children and I am here to help them find dynamic, funny, entertaining stories and foster a love of reading!

    Library hours are 7:30 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.
Students who wish to use the library in the morning before school must get permission from the duty teacher, go directly to the library, and remain there until 7:50. The library is also open for student use during both lunch periods.
By following these basic procedures, you can help to preserve your library privilege:
    1. The library is a place for students to use the materials available for their preparation and benefit. Do your part to maintain an atmosphere for study.
    2. Observe the procedures established for the proper use of books and other materials. Check books out properly and return them on time, making sure that they have been checked in and removed from your account.
    3. When books are lost or overdue, fines occur. Arrangements need to be made with the librarian for taking care of these responsibilities.

Please contact our librarian, Mrs. Dixon, for further information.
