Hello! My name is Cami Gittel and I am the new librarian at Borah Elementary this year. My husband attended Borah as a student way back in the 90’s and all of our children have or are currently attending Borah as well. We love being a family of Borah Lions!

I am a graduate of the University of Idaho with a Bachelors degree in Geology with an emphasis in science education. Go Vandals! Some of my hobbies are listening & dancing to music, watching movies and TV, spending time with my family and READING.

Reading and books have always been a passion of mine. As a student, I loved to research nonfiction topics on my own and loved exploring all literary genres. Now as a parent, I’ve tried to instill the same love of reading with my children. 

I am so excited about getting to know each student at Borah and look forward to a fun and wonderful year of learning and reading!
