Hello, my name is Kattie Whitcomb!

This is my first year teaching and I couldn't be more happy! I am so excited to be teaching at Borah--it has been my dream since attending kindergarten here. I was born and raised in Coeur d'Alene. After graduating from the CDA School District, I got my Associate's Degree from North Idaho College and then received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from Boise State. I can't wait to share my love of learning with my students!

I love the outdoors and I enjoy spending time in the mountains or at the lake. I have a big family and I absolutely love spending time with them, as well as with my wild yellow lab puppy.

I have experience working with children aged from birth to sixth grade in many different settings and I am ecstatic to be furthering my career at Borah. Teaching is my passion and I am so excited to watch all our Borah Lions learn and grow!
