Hi!

My name is Mindy Alden and I have been in education for 22 years as a teacher, a curriculum specialist, director of education, teacher mentor, day camp director, and as a substitute. I have spent 15 of those years in the classroom as a full-time teacher in the North Idaho, Seattle, and Spokane areas. When I am not teaching, you might find me hanging out with my children or enjoying the beautiful area we live in. I have 2 teenage children; one is in college and one is a freshman at Lake City High School. I enjoy reading, doing puzzles, and crafting. I often have 3 or 4 books going at the same time! 

It is my ultimate goal that each student who comes into my classroom feels loved and valued, supported and confident, as they pursue their academic goals.
