Welcome to the Art Department at Lakes Middle School! 

I am so happy to be here! My name is Jasmine Reed and I have been an Art Educator in the Coeur d'Alene School District for 10 years! This is my first year here at Lakes and I am thrilled to be in this building and honored to work with these students! 

I have an extensive background in Art, both formal education and independent practice! I am passionate about the Arts. I practice Art independently, as much as I can. I find that Art is a great way to relieve stress, build community and self-expression. I believe in the therapeutic aspects of Art and believe that the Creative Process will aid any career choice.

I get to teach 6th grade Exploratory here at Lakes, along with Art Class and Pottery! 

Please see the link for supplies that you will need for Art! As of now I have plenty of supplies for Art and Pottery projects! The district and the  community have been so supportive.
