Welcome to Ramsey Elementary School! My name is Megan McGrane and I will be teaching kindergarten this year.  I am a proud graduate of the University of Arizona and have been an educator for many years (Arizona and California). This will be my 12th year teaching kindergarten and my third year at Ramsey Elementary! It is a privilege to work at such a wonderful school and be a part of the Ramsey family.  I am looking forward to this school year and to working with parents and their children to give them the best education possible.  It’s going to be a fantastic year!

Teaching children is one of the most rewarding jobs one could ask for.  The first year of school is such a magical time for students and I feel very lucky to be a part of it.  I take great pride in my job as an educator and as your child’s teacher.  In my classroom, we will have many wonderful experiences and opportunities to learn and grow.  My goal is to give my kindergarten students the skills he or she needs to be successful both in and out of the classroom and to provide a loving and nurturing environment to grow and thrive in.

    A little about me:

-My husband and I just welcomed a baby girl into the world in July!

-Over the summer I completed my Masters program in Early Childhood Education at Grand Canyon University.

-I am a huge Arizona Wildcats fan and also love cheering on the San Diego Padres baseball team.

-I live in Post Falls and feel very lucky to be surrounded by so much natural beauty.  I spend as much time outdoors as possible, either hiking, kayaking, camping, and playing with our German Shepherd ¨Chief¨.
