Welcome to Ramsey Elementary School! My name is Megan McGrane and I will be teaching kindergarten this year.  I am a proud graduate of the University of Arizona and have been an educator for many years. This will be my 11th year teaching kindergarten and my second year at Ramsey Elementary! It is a privilege to work at such a wonderful school and be a part of the Ramsey family.  I am looking forward to this school year and to working with you and your child to give them the best education possible.  It’s going to be a fantastic year!

Teaching children is one of the most rewarding jobs one could ask for.  The first year of school is such a magical time for students and I feel very lucky to be a part of it.  I take great pride in my job as an educator and as your child’s teacher.  This year we will have many wonderful experiences and opportunities to learn and grow.  My goal is to give your child the skills he or she needs to be successful both in and out of the classroom and to provide a loving and nurturing environment to grow and thrive in.

Together as a team, we can help make sure your child is successful this year!  It is my belief that communication is key to a great parent-teacher-student relationship.  Throughout the year I will be communicating with you through weekly newsletters, notes, emails, phone calls, and parent conferences.  Please feel free to contact me at any time with questions or concerns you may have.

    All little about me:

-I just got married over the summer!

-I am a huge Arizona Wildcats fan and also love cheering on the San Diego Padres.

-I live in Post Falls and feel very lucky to be surrounded by so much natural beauty.  I spend as much time outdoors as possible, either hiking, kayaking, camping, and playing with our German Shepherd.
