Elementary Summer Programs
CDA Reads hits the road June 28-August 12, with our Imagine Buses visiting schools and neighborhoods to help elementary students stay connected to reading and build their own libraries at home. This summer, students in kindergarten through fifth grade who have been identified as needing extra help in English language arts will participate in our CDA Reads program at Borah Elementary School. This is by invitation only, with schools selecting students who would most benefit from the opportunity. Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 10 a.m. to 12 noon, June 15-July 29. Lunch included. Coeur d’Alene and Hayden city libraries will participate. District buses available to transport students to and from the school.

Dream Summer School
We are offering summer learning experiences for interested high school students. Available sessions run one, two or four weeks. Monday-Thursday, June 28-July 23, at Lake City High School. AP Academy (LCHS and CHS)
August 2, 2021 from 8-12: AP Calculus Preparation
This 4 hour session will allow students to review some pre-calculus skills that are used often in AP Calculus. Including but not limited to: exact trigonometric values, how to use a graphing calculator, rational exponents, and behaviors of graphs. We will also discuss common mistakes and/or misconceptions in math and how to show our work effectively
August 9, 2021 from 8-12: AP Survival Skill
An overview of the best practices, tips and tricks to do your very best on your AP exam.
Credit-recovery program at Venture High School and Lakes Middle School.

INNOVATIVE EDUCATORS POWERED BY GIZMO
The 2021 Summer Institute for Learning offers three sessions for students and educators to celebrate curiosity, creativity and critical thinking. Educators are eligible for 3-6 PD* credits for the University of Idaho for each Summer Institute. Click on links in descriptions to register. The theme is NASA and space exploration.
