    Hello! This is my second year at Lakes Middle School but my 8th year teaching. I grew up in Sioux Falls, SD but after graduating with my teaching degree I moved to Chicago where I spent my first four years teaching on the south side. I moved back home to be closer to family and continued to teach in middle school. I met a guy (now my husband) who convinced me to move to North Idaho and I couldn’t be happier with that choice! I am passionate about middle school math, both because of the content and the people! In my free time, you can find me outdoors in the woods or by the water. I love my time with my family and enjoy watching Micah, my six-year-old step son, explore and be curious about the world!
