My name is Zachary Williamson, and this is my first year teaching at Lake City High School. I teach two sections of Senior English, three sections of Sophomore English, and a Modern Movies as Literature elective. This is my fifth year teaching overall, and I'm really happy to be teaching in a K-12 setting again.
I graduated the University of Idaho in 2015 with a B.A. in English with a Teaching Emphasis and a B.S. in Secondary Education. After I completed undergrad, I decided to immediately pursue a Master's Degree in Teaching English as a Second Language at the University of Idaho where I had the opportunity to teach and work at the university's Writing Center. I completed my M.A. in Teaching English as a Second Language in 2017, and I also completed my M.A. in English Rhetoric and Composition in 2018. I spent four years total at the University of Idaho teaching a variety of composition courses including: Technical Writing, Rhetoric and Composition, Personal Exploratory Writing, and many others.
Outside of school, I love to cook and collect vinyl records. Baseball is one of my passions (go Padres!), and I also help coach baseball here at LCHS.
