    The board generally meets the first Monday of each month at Midtown Center

    Generally, the third Monday of the month will be set aside for special meetings, workshops and/or forums as needed.
     
    Date(s) in bold are changes from the regular Monday schedule due to holidays, schedule conflicts and school breaks.
     
    The Board of Trustees may call meetings as necessary in accordance with Idaho Code 33-510 and 67-2343. Minutes are posted to the website within 3-4 working days after Board approval, which occurs at the next regularly scheduled board meeting. 

    Public Comment

    If you wish to share your thoughts and suggestions with our board there are several ways you can do this.

    • Address the board during public comment by signing up just prior to the start of the monthly meeting. Please bring six copies of any handouts you may wish to include.
    • Submit written testimony or comment to the Clerk of the Board at ltowne@cdaschools.org.
    • Comment on items published for public review (policies, curriculum, etc). Items up for review are published on our website. 

    Can't Make It? 

    If you cannot attend in person, meetings are streamed live on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/c/CdASchools271. They also are broadcast later on CDATV Spectrum Cable Channel 1301. Note that only regular monthly meetings are audio/video recorded, but minutes for special meetings are available.  

    Public Records

    Our district strives to make all records public, unless exempt in accordance with Idaho Code Title 74, Chapter 1, Sections 74-103 and FERPA regulations and guidelines. This information is updated monthly, or as required. All public information must be submitted in accordance with Idaho Code 74-102.

    Lynn Towne began working for Coeur d'Alene School District in 1989.  She worked as the assistant to the Associate Superintendent/Curriculum Director and as acting clerk until being appointed Clerk of the Board in 2006. 
     
    Lynn is a consultant for the Idaho School Boards Association specializing in training for new Board Clerks.  She is also a Past President of Idaho Association of Educational Office Professionals.
