It is my sincere honor and pleasure to continue to be a member of this amazing school community, and I feel privileged to have been appointed to be the new principal of Borah Elementary. I eagerly look forward to greeting returning families and new families to Borah for the 2022-23 school year.  We  are looking forward to another great year of learning.  We will continue to focus on our school mission and vision to empower students by fostering social and emotional growth through leadership opportunities and academic excellence. We will challenge students to be leaders and take an active part in their own learning. Together, I know we will make this school year one of growth and achievement for all children.  

In order for students to become productive and responsible members of a continually changing society, we all must know how to interact with one another and be able to make appropriate, informed decisions in a multitude of situations. Consequently, in an effort to empower students to be independent thinkers and productive citizens, Borah will continue to create a safe, caring community in which all learners can thrive, feel accepted, and respectfully voice their opinions and thoughts. We will continue to maintain high expectations for students, demonstrate compassion for children, continually challenge students to grow and learn and endeavor to be lifelong learners ourselves. 

Please make sure to read the school newsletter. It is here that we communicate events, important information, and any updates you may need. In addition, our classroom teachers send out communication pertaining to their activities and learning. Should you ever have any questions for any staff member, feel free to call our office and they will direct you to the appropriate person.

As your principal, I will do my very best to ensure Borah is a safe, positive learning environment for our students, whom we value dearly. I look forward to working with our families, students, staff, and community partners to make this a wonderful year. Please reach out to me if you have questions or comments.
