NOTICE TO FAMILIES ENROLLED IN SCHOOL PLUS:
We are extending our temporary suspension of School PLUS child care until further notice. This is a difficult decision, but we believe it’s in the best interest of our community as we focus our efforts on ensuring the health and safety of our students and staff.
We will continue to provide emergency K-5 child care at Ramsey Magnet School for students of those who work in healthcare and emergency services. As the coronavirus pandemic continues to expand in our nation and state, it is important for us to participate in the emergency operations of our region, and that means the continued support of child care for hospital employees, emergency responders, and public health staff. Therefore, we are not able at this time to extend that care to children of District employees or to resume School PLUS for the currently enrolled School PLUS families.
For those who have prepaid for School PLUS, a credit will be applied to your account for all days the program remains closed.
If you have questions for us, please let us know. You may email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Welcome to the School PLUS program!
Our School PLUS program provides reliable, quality before and after school child care to children in kindergarten through fifth grade — any child who attends a district elementary school where a School PLUS program is located is eligible to attend. While they are in our care, children will be involved in a rich, stimulating environment and will enjoy an active agenda of developmentally appropriate activities which include arts and crafts, sports, board games, special events, field trips, homework time, quiet low-key and high energy release activities.
