Hi my name is Amy Sheppard and I am one of the Special Education Teachers here at Coeur d'Alene High School. I teach 9th thru 12th grade ELA and I co-teach with the ELA Boost teachers.
This is my 7th year teaching. I previously worked at Lakeland High School teaching Special Education ELA, Math and a Study Support class as well as Special Education ELA at Canfield Middle School. I currently hold a degree in Elementary Education, Masters in Special Education and a Masters in Educational Leadership. Not only do I enjoy teaching, but I love being a student myself.
I have 4 children, 3 girls and one boy. We have a very busy schedule with school events, sporting events, and just taking them to their friends houses. Outside of school I love to spend time with my family and friends. Summer is my favorite time of the year, not because I am not working, but because I love the sun and the warmth.
I am beyond excited to be a part of the CHS Viking family and I look forward to growing as a teacher this year. We already know that there will be challenges that we face for the 2020/2021 school year, but we are a family that is united here at CHS and together we will navigate the waters and make it to the other side.
My daily schedule is listed below. Please note that Wednesdays is not included on this right now because Wed. will be time for me to connect with students as well as schedule IEP meetings, etc. I will add my Wedmesday office hours shortly.

ISATs will begin after Spring Break. I will post a schedule when we have it confirmed. Please be sure that students get plenty of rest adn eat a healthy breakfast.
