• Welcome biology students!

My name is Derek Dockter, and I am excited to be your science teacher at Coeur d'Alene High School!  Before teaching in Coeur d'Alene, I taught high school science in Woodland, CA beginning (2003-2019).  I have also mentored students from all over the state of California as a biomedical sciences teacher fellow in the California State Summer School for Math and Science (COSMOS) program from 2006-2018. I love teaching science, serving others, and being taught.   I look forward to a great year of biology and getting to know you!
