Hello, Vikings! I teach the Engineering Technology / Shop program. I also serve as the advisor for the Technology Student Association. Outside of school, I enjoy camping, hiking, fly fishing, hunting, and tinkering in my shop building stuff. I have a wonderful wife and we have two amazing dogs and a sometimes okay cat named Timmeh.
My Education and Professional Background
I earned my Masters of Education in Professional Technical and Technology Education (PTTE) and a Bachelor's of Science in Technology Education from the University of Idaho. I hold a certificate to teach Pre-Engineering, Technology Education, Carpentry, and Building Trades. I taught at Lake City High School, Moscow High School, and the University of Idaho prior to coming to CHS. In addition, I have several years of industry experience in construction, cabinet making, and manufacturing.
Monday - Friday 7:15 - 3:00
Lunch time - I have an open-door policy for both early and late lunch. I have early lunch, so all students are welcome to come down to my room. Those students that have late lunch typically can work while I am teaching but need to double check with me first before coming down.
After school, open shop - I run an open lab Wednesdays after school at least until 3:30. We will run later than that if there are several students being productive and I do not have anything on my schedule.
