Ramsey Magnet School of Science

Hi Ramsey family and friends! My name is Jodey Holzinger and I am the Speech-Language Pathologist at Ramsey Magnet School of Science.

I moved to the Coeur d'Alene area about 7 years ago from Spokane, WA. Previously, I worked as a sign language interpreter for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in a neighboring school district. After nine years working in the schools, I decided that I wanted to further my education. I earned my Master’s degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Washington State University in 2017 and have been working for the CDA School District ever since. This is my sixth year serving children kindergarten through fifth grade at Ramsey.

When I am not helping kids with their communication needs at school, I enjoy going to country music concerts, being outdoors, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. My husband and I have three children, one of which attends school in the CDA district. We all really enjoy living in this wonderful community! 

I have really enjoyed working with the students and staff here at Ramsey. I am excited to be here and look forward to a great school year!
