• Meet Mrs. Renninger

    Mrs. Renninger

My name is Kierstie Renninger, and I’m so excited to be a Teacher on Special Assignment, or TOSA, this year. I’m really focusing on Social-Emotional Learning and Positive Behavior Supports. I am passionate about equipping students with skills to help them succeed in the classroom and far beyond our 4 walls. In small group settings, I teach a combination of self-regulation, mindfulness, and social skills to support our students.

I grew up right here in Coeur d’Alene. I graduated from Lake City High School, and went on to Whitworth University in Spokane, WA, where I received my K-8 Elementary Education teaching certification with a concentration in mathematics. My professional interests include PBIS in schools, behavior interventions, and incorporating social-emotional learning in the everyday classroom. I have experience in grades K-2nd, high school, and international teaching. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, photography, painting, and spending time with friends and family. I look forward to meeting and working with our Borah families, now and in the future. Borah is great place to be!
