Hi my name is Mrs. Sacksteder! A few fun facts about me are that I love reading, I am married to an awesome guy named Ryan, and I love teaching! 

This school year will be my 7th year teaching. My teaching career began in Quinhagak, Alaska as a 6th grade teacher. After Alaska I taught in Plummer, Idaho for two years as a 6th grade teacher as well. For the past 4 years I have taught at Woodland Middle School. 

I am an Idaho native! Yes, I was born in the “Big Blue Hospital” and have primarily lived in the Coeur d’Alene area my entire life. I did move away from our beautiful town for a brief time during my college years and the start of my career. My first move was to Moscow, Idaho where I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education. Throughout my time at the university I spent one semester abroad in Chiang Mai, Thailand. I am proud to be a Vandal graduate and an Idaho native.
