• Welcome to 5th Grade!!

My name is Linley Devlin and I am so excited to be teaching 5th Grade at Borah Elementary! I have lived in Idaho since I was 6 years old and I am proud to call it home. While my roots are grounded in New York, I couldn't imagine living anywhere else but here. I graduated from high school locally before earning a Bachelors in Elementary Education with an endorsement in mathematics from the University of Idaho. While I'm not teaching and learning myself, I love to be outside enjoying all the things the Pacific Northwest has to offer: hiking, camping, riding dirt bikes and more. I look forward to an amazing year full of growth for my students, our school community, and myself!

    Homework:

There will be no formally assigned homework in 5th grade. The only homework will consist of work that students do not finish during their class time AND reading from their choice novel (there are a few exceptions throughout the year). In lieu of homework, I encourage your child to spend quality time with family and get an early-good night’s rest. A folder will be come home daily with any unfinished work, reading log, newsletters and announcements from our school.
