This is my 8th year teaching Kindergarten in the Coeur d' Alene School District.  This will be my 2nd year here at Winton and I have also taught 6 years at Bryan Elementary. I cannot be more blessed to be spending this year with your child. Kindergarten has been my dream grade from the moment I stepped into my own kindergarten classroom all those years ago.  They say that a great teacher has the ability to leave a lifelong impression and I can attest to this. My love of teaching began from the age of 5 with my very first teacher. 

I have a wonderful husband named Jonathan who is an Architectural Drafter working at a firm in Spokane, Washington. Together we have been married for 19 years.  We have 2 amazing children ♥ My son Noah is 18 and my daughter Lauren is 13 and entering 8th grade at Lakes Middle school.

When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with family, listening to music, going for walks with our German Shepard, and just enjoying the downtime. I also love occasionally binge watching a good show while snuggled up with one of my 3 cats. I enjoy living in the moment!

Education:

I attended Elementary school in Vermont, part of Middle and High School in various parts of Colorado, and then graduated in Idaho from Timberlake High School in 2003.  I received my Associates of Elementary Education from North Idaho College followed by my Bachelor's in Education from Lewis-Clark State College in 2015. In addition to my Bachelor's degree, I also hold endorsements in Special Education and Literacy.
