Hello! My name is Laura Siegford, and I'm thrilled to be teaching another year at Dalton Elementary. This is my sixteenth year teaching and my sixth year teaching at Dalton. I look forward to working collaboratively with you as your child embarks on his/her journey in third grade.

I graduated from the University of Idaho in 2005 and took my first teaching job in the small town of Quinault, Washington as a sixth grade teacher.  My husband and I then moved to Forks, Washington (Yep, home of Twilight) where I taught fifth grade, eighth grade ELA, and third grade.  The Olympic Peninsula is beautiful, but we moved back to Idaho shortly after our son was born to be near family again.

I grew up in Sandpoint, Idaho.  My husband, son and I love to spend time outdoors. We love to hike, mountain bike, ski, camp, and play at the lake.  In my down time, I love to curl up with a great book and a cup of coffee.

I'm looking forward to another great year at Dalton. Our school is truly a special place. :)
