2020-21 Kindergarten Registration
How to register your little one for the 2020-21 school year
Children who will be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2020, are eligible to enter Kindergarten.
Do you know where your student will attend Kindergarten? We have Kindergarten classes at all 11 of our elementary schools. If you need to look up your neighborhood school, please enter your home address in our School Site Locator.
Once you know which school your Kindergartener will attend in the fall, there are 3 ways to begin the registration process.

2. PHONE REGISTRATION: Call the school and answer a series of questions over the phone. (Due to the current building closure, you may need to leave a message and ask for a returned call.)

Full-Day Tuition-Based Kindergarten
At six of our elementary schools (Atlas, Dalton, Hayden Meadows, Skyway, Ramsey and Sorensen) we have both half-day and full-day Kindergarten classes. The full-day Kindergarten classes at these schools are available to students whose families agree to help pay the cost through tuition. Families apply for spots in these full-day classes, and students are selected through a lottery.
If you are interested in applying for a spot in one of the full-day, tuition-based Kindergarten classes, you may APPLY HERE NOW. Deadline to apply is May 22. Families will be notified of full-day placement on June 1.
Kindergarten at a Magnet School
Two of our elementary schools (Sorensen and Ramsey) are magnet schools. Magnet Schools administer a separate application/lottery process for registering students. For Kindergarten students who are accepted into the magnet schools, those schools will contact the families to complete the registration process.
