The Life Skills Program curriculum focuses on functional academics geared toward preparing students for college and career readiness enabling them to become productive 21stcentury members of society.

Life skills are generally those skills that students will need in everyday life (e.g., money management, self-care, and functional reading). These skills are essential for the students in the Life Skills Program because they enable the transition from school to life in the real world.
    • Self-concept – students develop an awareness of personal, social, and civic awareness
    • Personal & Social skills – focus on how emotions affect the behavior of oneself and others
    • Life Skills – teaches skills for independent living, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and job preparedness training
