Mrs. Tara Gray
Hello families! This is my 8th year at Ramsey, my 9th year in the Coeur d'Alene School District, and my 17th year teaching! This year I will have the pleasure of working with our amazing fifth graders and I am so thrilled to have this opportunity! Please read below to get to know a little more about me.
When I was four years-old, I begged my mom to let me go to school. I was a September baby, so my birthday came 4 days before the cut off day and my mom was considering keeping me home for one more year. For some reason she listened to the whims of a very determined younger version of me and, well, I guess I just knew where I needed to be!
I was born in California, then moved to Oregon, but I grew up in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho and I am so grateful to be close to nature and yet be near the conveniences of the city. I went to school at Coeur d’Alene High School (go Vikings!) but it was during my time there that Lake City was opened up, so I feel connected to both schools (go Timberwolves!). I went on to get a degree at North Idaho College, Lewis-Clark State College, and the University of Idaho, so I have every reason to be invested in Idaho's education.
I live with my amazing husband and my beautiful little girl. We love to spend time outdoors, with family, and experiencing all that this area has to offer. Coeur d'Alene really is a pretty special place and I'm thankful I get to live the dream right here.
