ABOUT THE CLASS
Diane Easman teaches literature classes with an emphasis on reading and thinking strategies. Her passion is to get students thinking about what they read with the understanding of how they know what they know, and then expressing what they know in thoughtful, productive and efficient ways. Students become agents of their own learning through opportunities to collaborate with peers and engage in critical thinking. She finds it encouraging to watch them grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Her hope is to inspire students to find texts they will enjoy reading as lifelong learners
