Degrees and Certifications:

Mr. Frazier

Hello! I am the Director of Instrumental Music at Lakes Magnet Middle School in Coeur d’Alene. I previously taught general music, 4th/5th grade strings, and choir at Eagle Hills Elementary and was also the assistant director for the Eagle High School Marching Band.

I received my Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Idaho in Instrumental Music Education. My primary instrument is alto saxophone and I play with the jazz combo Snake River Jazz. I have also had the opportunity to perform with the Silver Saxophone Quartet at a North American Saxophone Alliance conference, the Panhandle Symphony Orchestra, the Boise Modern Jazz Ensemble, and the Boise Philharmonic with Curtis Stigers.

I have been a member of the Idaho National Guard since 2009 and was promoted to Warrant Officer 1 in September, 2017. I graduated from my Warrant Officer Basic Course at the United States Army School of Music on August 17th, 2018 and will take over as the Commander of the 25th Army Band, located in Boise, on October 13th, 2018.

I live in Kingston, ID with my beautiful wife, Allison and will soon be welcoming my first child to the world in September! I'm very excited to be a father! I have two dogs, Percy and Daisy, that love to run around and go with me camping, hiking, and running.
