I am originally from Homer, Alaska, but mostly grew up in Taos, New Mexico. I graduated from the Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington, and earned my master’s degree (with a focus on integrating the arts) through Lesley University. This is my 9th year teaching at Ramsey. Before coming to Ramsey, I worked at Woodland Middle School in the special education department for 4 years.
I have a step-son, Dylon, who is in 10th grade at Lake City High School and a daughter, Gemma, who is four years old! Many of you know that my husband, Sergeant Greg Moore, was killed in 2015. Our family is eternally grateful for the continual love and commuity support.
Of course, I love being with children. I believe in all children and value their thoughts and ideas. I'm honored to continue to teach and to share my passion for the arts.
