Education is not necessarily the learning of information, but learning how to learn.  In the ever changing global world of technology, understanding how to be a self-learner and adapt to change is the key to a successful career.  By providing a safe environment for the student to experiment, make mistakes and experience success, they learn the value of empowerment and become the creators of their own destiny.
