I am honored to be back at my alma mater here at CHS (Class of 2006) after graduating from the University of Idaho (GO VANDALS!!) in 2011 with degrees in both Biology and Secondary Education and a German minor.  I was married in 2009 to my college sweetheart and we moved to Honduras upon our college graduation.  We both taught at a school for children who live and work in the Tegucigalpa Garbage Dump; I taught Chemistry and Biology (all in Spanish!) and was rewarded more than I can describe through this experience.

I was hired at CHS in the fall of 2013 and have enjoyed being back in my hometown doing what I love: teaching...I was humbled to be chosen as CHS' Rookie Teacher of the Year in 2014.  I have been a Ski and Snowboard Club advisor since 2017 and more recently became a Co-Advisor for National Honors Society in 2021. When I am not teaching, I enjoy golfing, volleyball, snow-skiing, backpacking, and spending time at the park with my family.

My husband and I started growing our family in May of 2015 when we welcomed Stephanie Lynn to the world and decided she needed a best friend, so we welcomed Melanie Grace to the world in May of 2017.  We knew our family wouldn't be complete without a four-legged friend so we welcomed Lucy, our black lab in April of 2018.
