    Welcome to Northwest Expedition Academy!
I am so excited to continue Project-Based Learning with the students and families here at NExA. My role this year is split between being a principal assistant and ALP teacher. We are an inclusion school so all ALP services for students exist in the classroom.

    A little about me
I am originally from Great Falls, MT and I graduated from the University of Montana with a degree in Elementary Education. After graduating in 2010. I got a job teaching full-day Kindergarten in Great Falls. In 2011 I moved to Coeur d'Alene and began teaching in the district. I have taught 1, 3rd, and now Title and Advanced Learning. In 2015 I received my master's in Educational Leadership from the University of Idaho.

    Finally...

I know communication and conversations are vital for all students to succeed. I welcome any and all e-mails as well as calls. Just know if you call during the school day I am working with students and will get back to you in the evening.

One of the best ways to support a school is to send us your box tops. My brother always includes box tops in all the cards he sends me and it makes my heart smile!
