    Welcome back for another year!

I started my teaching career in 2006 at Bozeman High School, followed by one year of teaching at T.C. Howe Academy in the Indianapolis Public Schools. I have been teaching and coaching at Lake City High School since 2008. I received my associates degree from North Idaho Junior college while competing for the 14 time national champion cardinal wrestling team.  I earned my Bachelor's degree from Dickinson State University while finishing my college wrestling career.  During my first two years of teaching I earned my Masters degree from Grand Canyon University in Special Education.  While I am not teaching I enjoy spending time with my wife Marissa and daughter Nora.

When I get a chance to get away for a few hours in the summer I like to play golf or head to the nearest river or stream for some fly fishing and in the winter I like to find the best powder for downhill skiing.  This year I will be teaching outdoor adventures and cardio-fit. If you have any questions or concerns please email me at cowen@cdaschools.org.
