I am honored to be the principal at Winton Elementary School. I grew up in Missoula, Montana and spent 13 years teaching in the Missoula School System. I have worked in the Coeur d’ Alene School District for the last 17 years. At the end of the 2011 school year I completed my 32nd year of a rewarding and successful teaching career. I have three grown children and my husband coaches and teaches at Lake City High School.
At Winton I will continue the strong tradition of the positive behavior support system. PBS empowers and enables students to make good choices and be recognized for those choices. I enjoying working with the excellent Winton staff, and providing a strong education for our students.
The faculty of Winton is dedicated to providing a school environment that is educationally sound and socially responsible for all students. Using best practices in instruction, highly trained teachers guide students through state of the art curriculum with lessons that are rigorous and relevant. Students take responsibility for their learning while practicing good character and citizenship.
I look forward to working with you and your children. If you need to contact me please call the school or e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org
