My name is Kim Youngman, although some of my former students may remember me as Ms. Lutes. I have been teaching at Winton since 2005. I taught 3rd grade for 8 years and have been teaching 5 grade here ever since. Prior to teaching in the Coeur d' Alene School District, I taught for 6 years in Weippe, Idaho (3 years in 2nd grade and 3 years in 6th grade). I am originally from Eastern Oregon. I attended grade school and high school in Arlington, Oregon. I graduated from Blue Mountain Community College in Pendleton, Oregon, before transferring to Lewiston, Idaho, to finish my education at Lewis-Clark State College. I am married to a wonderful man, Shawn, and have 2 amazing step-children. I love movies and spending time with my family and friends. I like to read nonfiction books about people and history. I also like to listen to music (especially 80's music and dance music). I love coffee and anything chocolate! Some things I don't like are Brussels sprouts (yuck) and goat cheese (double yuck). I also don't like dishonesty and disrespect.
