Hello!  My name is Brandi Meade. I have the pleasure, this September, of beginning my 24th year of teaching here at Dalton Elementary School. I absolutely love my job and the families that I serve.  I was born in Coeur d'Alene and have lived here my entire life. I have two boys. My oldest attends college at George Fox University in Oregon and my youngest attends the University of Idaho. I recently married my wonderful husband, Johnny, and am excited to now have Maggee as my step-daughter.

 

I earned my B.A. in education from Lewis-Clark State College in 1998. I graduated from U of I with my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership in 2008.  

 

I keep a very structured and routine-oriented classroom as I believe that children function and learn best when they know what to expect and what is expected of them.  However...I also love to have fun! I have discovered that teaching with humor, polite teasing, and a smile can bring out the best in my students.
