Hi there 3rd Grade Families!I’m so excited to introduce myself as a teacher here at Bryan Elementary! After graduating from The University of Idaho, I was fortunate enough to do my internship here in a second and fifth grade classroom in 2011. I was also happy to continue on the next year as a Reading Aide and Substitute Teacher. Having loved every minute of being a part of this school, you can probably imagine how excited I was to find out that I had earned myself a teaching position here in 2013. I taught 5th grade the last 7 years, and earned my Masters in Reading this summer (2020). I am very excited for a new challenge and to be teaching 3rd grade this year!
The learning adventures that we will be taking on through the Common Core Standards will be truly enlightening and engaging! I acknowledge the fact that we all have different learning styles, strengths & weaknesses, and ways of communicating, therefore, I feel blessed that we get to experience this year together and learn from each other!
As I mentioned, I’m a big fan of all that is Bryan Elementary. The family involvement and support that we have is amazing! If there is anything that you would like to talk to me about, please feel welcome to stop by,call or email me. I enjoy parent volunteers, so if you are interested in seeing what these intelligent kiddos are up to in the classroom, send me your availability, and I will set you up with a time to help out. I look forward to getting to know you all!
